About Hypnosis

Hypnosis: Your Path to Inner Strength and Change

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Albert Einstein

Perhaps when you think of hypnosis, you imagine stage acts or losing control? Let’s correct that image right away: Hypnosis is your completely natural state of inner clarity, which you experience several times a day. It is a so-called trance: A moment of deep relaxation and simultaneously heightened concentration. Your consciousness moves into the background, and your subconscious opens up. The subconscious is the storage bank for your deepest beliefs, behavioral patterns, and your hidden resources.
• No Sleep: You are reachable at all times, awake, and retain full control. You can end the state yourself at any time.
• Full Responsibility: I am your companion; you are the expert on your inner world.
The Subconscious – Your Treasury of Resources Your consciousness is only the small steering wheel on deck. Your subconscious, however, is the ship’s huge rudder—it is the 90% power that truly determines where the journey is going. Hypnosis allows us to realign the rudder by gently correcting deeply seated beliefs and old patterns.

“The resources you need are found in your own history.” – Milton H. Erickson, the founder of modern hypnotherapy. This quote gets straight to the core: I do not guide you into a state where I “program” something into you. We use hypnosis to uncover your own, pre-existing strengths and solutions.
An anecdote for clarification:
The famous actor Kevin Costner suffered extremely from seasickness during the filming of Waterworld. A big problem for a film that plays almost entirely on the water. Instead of taking medication, he had a hypnotherapist flown in. With targeted hypnosis, he was able to change his focus and body awareness so much that the seasickness disappeared during work. Hypnosis did not take away his control; rather, it helped him regain control over his own, unconscious physical reaction.
Exactly that is the goal of our work: To regain control over processes that have previously worked “automatically” and unconsciously against you.
